Everything about National League B totally explained

National League B or Nationalliga B (German) or Ligue Nationale B (French) is the second tier of the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland. The winners of this league each season play a best-of-seven series against the bottom team of National League A and, if they win, are promoted, while the National League A team is relegated to National League B. Starting season 2006/2007, the Swiss U20 team will play one time against each team. The points are comptabilized in the standing.
